Gary Green, Former Founder & CEO of Strategic Franchising Systems, is one of America's most successful and prolific franchise developers with more than 35 years of franchising experience. Gary is a serial entrepreneur who has developed, launched and led dozens of businesses. More specifically, Gary has been involved with the launch of eight national franchise systems, has overseen five successful exits, and is majority shareholder/member of three remaining, separate, but affiliated national franchise brands: Fresh Coat, TruBlue Home Service Ally (formerly called TruBlue Total House Care), and Pet Wants.
In 2016, Gary led the successful exit of Home Helpers Franchise System and in 2026, the successful exits of The Growth Coach and Caring Transitions franchise systems. He also founded and sold Ultimate Toys, one of the largest Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Conversion companies and distribution networks in the U.S., that designed proprietary, exclusive, luxurious, and multi-functional floor plans.

Today, in addition to FFG, he enjoys spending time with his family, mentoring and helping people become successful business owners, running his Dude Ranch in Cincinnati, investing in real estate, and traveling extensively.

Dan Murphy is President and Co-Founder of the Franchise Funding Group, CEO of Strategic Franchising, retired CEO/Co-Founder of The Growth Coach franchise system, and Co-Founder, equity owner, and Board Member of four additional franchise systems: Caring Transitions, TruBlue Home Service Ally, Pet Wants, and Fresh Coat. For FFG, he oversaw our due diligence, investment in, and the national franchise launch of the Pet Wants Franchise System. In 2026, from the Strategic Franchising portfolio, Dan helped guide successful exits of The Growth Coach and Caring Transitions franchise systems. And for the last six years, he has been an active Angel Investor through Queen City Angels.
Prior to getting into franchising in 2002, Dan owned his own business coaching company for over a decade and helped hundreds of small business owners and entrepreneurs achieve greater success and personal balance. At home, he loves spending time with his family, traveling, reading, mastering both self-development & money management, and supporting causes/charities near to his heart.

Emma Dickison is an original FFG Board Member and investor. She is currently CEO and President of Home Helpers Franchise System with more than 35 years of experience in franchise management. Before joining Home Helpers in 2007, Emma helped build two of the country’s top franchise brands as Vice President of Global Franchise Operations for Sylvan Learning Center as well as National Director of Domestic Franchise Operations at Blockbuster.
Under Emma’s leadership, Home Helpers has experienced tremendous double digit growth. Home Helpers continues to lead the senior care industry and was ranked “Best of the Best” by Entrepreneur Magazine for five consecutive years.
Emma has served as a board member of the Women’s Franchise and Distribution Forum and is active in the Home Care Association and International Franchise Association.
Home Helpers was sold from the Strategic Franchising portfolio in 2016 to private equity and then again a few years ago to the private equity group, RiverGlade Capital.

Jeff has been our General Counsel and Secretary since February 2018. He has also been the General Counsel and Secretary of five of our national franchise system affiliates: Growth Coach, Fresh Coat and Caring Transitions since September 2007, of TruBlue Home Service Ally since May 2011, of Pet Wants since August 2015, and has been Vice President of all of these franchise system affiliates since February 2018. He was General Counsel of H.H. Franchising Systems, Inc. (Home Helpers) in Cincinnati, Ohio from September 2007 through February 1, 2018. From July 2002 to September 2007, Jeff practiced law with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey, L.L.P. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
